Death by Hammer – Wife Murders Husband Because He PHONED Another Woman

Georgina Challen, 57, launched a ”frenzied” attack on retired businessman Richard, 61, as he ate lunch at the kitchen table of their former marital home in Claygate, Surrey, Guildford Crown Court heard. The couple had been attempting to patch up their marriage after separating and living apart but Challen became enraged after discovering the former car dealer had phoned another woman.
On Saturday August 14 last year, her anger “boiled into rage” and she set upon the Ferrari enthusiast before driving 70 miles to the notorious suicide spot of Beachy Head in East Sussex, the court was told.
Challen admitted killing her husband of 31 years as chaplains tried to coax her away from the cliff edge.
She told them: “I killed him with a hammer. I hit him lots of times. If I can’t have him, no one can.”
The former Police Federation office manager, of Ashton Place, Claygate, denied murder during her seven-day trial, claiming diminished responsibility, but the six men and six women of the jury rejected her defense.
Passing sentence, Judge Christopher Critchlow told her: “You found yourself being eaten up with jealousy at his friendships with other women.
“You didn’t want that and, as you have said, decided that if you could not have him, nobody would.”
He added: “You are somebody who has killed the only man you had known and loved, and you will have to live knowing what you have done.”
Challen looked in despair towards her two sons, David and James, in the public gallery as she was taken away to begin her sentence.
Members of her family sobbed as the jury foreman announced the verdict and the judge passed sentence.
The trial heard that the couple enjoyed a good life together in their large detached family home before their relationship fell apart.
Over a number of years Challen came to suspect her husband was unfaithful, and began keeping a diary in which she noted when he used his Viagra tablets, kept records of his receipts and even recorded following him to a brothel.
She wrote in a December 2004 entry: “Everyone thinks he’s a ladies’ man. I’m sick of his behavior. Every time he sees a young woman he leers.”
In the autumn of 2009 Challen left her husband, having secretly bought a property nearby, and soon afterwards he began divorce proceedings.
However, by August 14 they were trying to reconcile their differences.
The couple intended to spend the day clearing out their large detached house before going on a trip to Australia and then setting up a new home together on their return.
Challen went out to buy some food, and on her return became furious after learning that her husband had called a woman called Susan Wilce while she was out.
She confronted him about his plans for the next day, believing he intended to go boating with Ms. Wilce, whom he had met through an introductions agency called Dinner Dates.
Challen told jurors her husband refused to answer, saying: “Don’t question me, don’t question me.”
In a fit of jealousy she then launched the attack using a hammer she had brought in her handbag, leaving him with more than 20 injuries to his head.
Asked why she killed Mr. Challen, she told the court: “I don’t know, I just didn’t think that he wanted to be with me.”
Challen also feared that a “post-nuptial agreement” her husband had suggested they sign was just a way for him to control her before issuing divorce proceedings and getting a better share of their assets, the court was told.
After the attack, Challen cleaned herself up, tidied the dishes away and covered her husband’s body with old curtains.
She then drove home, switched on her computer, wrote out a suicide note and returned to the marital home, where she looked through her husband’s briefcase, listened to his phone messages and checked his computer for emails.
Police later found Mr. Challen’s bloodied body on the kitchen floor. A hand-written note placed on it by his wife read simply: “I love you, Sally.”
The couple’s son, James, 27, told the court that his dominant father “almost controlled” his mother, who suffered from very low self-esteem.
He said: “Everything was my father’s way, simple as that.
“From watching television to what was on his dinner plate, to when his dinner should be there as he turned up from work, where they go to eat, what friends they see, what holidays they go on.”

Breaking News – Kim Kardashian’s Ass is 100% REAL

Her curvaceous behind has been the ‘butt’ of speculation for years now, with the ever present ‘has she or hasn’t she?’ debate about possible implants.
But now it seems the controversy surrounding Kim Kardashian’s backside can finally be put to rest, with the 30-year-old taking desperate measures to prove that her booty is all her own.
The reality star paid a trip to the doctor to obtain an X-ray of her rear, proving that her dangerous curves are ‘au naturale,’ on the next episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Sister Khloe, who accompanied Kim to the medical centre today, posted a picture of the scan on her website.
‘Hey dolls. The PROOF is in the X-ray. Kim’s ass is 100% real!!!’ she wrote in the caption.
In the photo Kim is seen pointing at the scan, looking mighty pleased with herself.
Kim later tweeted: ‘Haha! The things my sisters have me do! Proof baby! RT @KhloeKardashian: Kim got a butt X-Ray… bit.ly/ldeCQZ See, it’s REAL!!! LOL.’
Kim’s other sister Kourtney also accompanied the girls.
Kourtney is known to have breast implants, and Kim suggests that she also be X-rayed to see what they look like.
‘Can we X-ray Kourtney’s boobs, so we can see what an implant looks like?’ she says.
The raven-haired Armenian beauty has been forced to fight rumors that she’s had a procedure carried out on her backside for years now.
In one recent interview with ABC Nightline, she categorically denied that she had gone under the knife to enhance the appearance or increase the size of her backside.
‘Those are just rumors, I don’t think I’ll ever outlive them. For the record, no butt implants. No butt injections, no anything to my butt,’ she said.
But while the reality star has always claimed she’s never had any plastic surgery, she has however admitted to using Botox injections.
But last year, Kim later vowed that she would cease using the injections ‘at least until she was 40′ after she suffered an allergic reaction.
In her injections sites, the socialite ended up with some serious swelling and two black eyes.
Meanwhile, Kim is keeping it all natural as she vows to slim down for her upcoming wedding to fiancé Kris Humphries.
Yesterday she displayed just how dedicated she really was to her weight loss plan, as she revealed that she worked out twice in one day.
The proof was also in the pudding when she was spotted all hot and bothered leaving her North Hollywood gym.
Clearly impressed with herself, she told her fans via Twitter: ‘just finished my second workout of the day!’
‘I’m on a mission,’ she added. ‘Feels good to be focused and dedicated.’
The reality star is also using her diet supplement Quicktrim as a mean to help her lose weight.
‘Starting QuickTrim today,’ she tweeted to her followers, earlier in the day. ‘It’s officially summer. I want to really get in fab shape!’
Kim has been hitting the gym every day to make sure her body is as stunning as the 20.5 carat ring on her finger.
The reality star, who announced her engagement to NBA star Humphries last month, broadcast her wedding weight loss plan to her fans on Twitter earlier this week.
When a follower wrote that they were ‘on [their] way to GNC to by some QuickTrim,’ she responded: ‘Take some for me! I’m about to start again! Wedding slimdown.’
Along with using the weight loss product that both Kim and sister Khloe endorse, which claims to jump start your metabolism and burn more calories, the bride-to-be has also called on the services of celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson (who trains Hollywood’s hottest stars including Jennifer Lopez and Minka Kelly).
Peterson kicks her famous bottom into shape with squats, lunges and sprints.
When asked by Us magazine in America what her fiancĂ© Humphries’ favorite body part was, Kim replied, ‘Obviously my butt.’
Kim has talked openly about her body struggles telling Harper’s Bazaar magazine in the U.S. that she constantly has to watch what she eats.

He’s Going to TIGHTROPE Across Niagara Falls

Daredevil Nik Wallenda said it’s been his dream to walk a tightrope across Niagara Falls so he was overwhelmed Wednesday when New York lawmakers voted to let him give it a try.
“You go there and look and seeing them alone they’re breathtaking,” Wallenda, a seventh-generation member of the “Flying Wallendas,” said of the waterfalls straddling the United States and Canada. “I almost tear up thinking about being out in the middle of that and what it’s going to look like. It’s going to be amazing.”
Wallenda wants to walk above the 180-feet-high Falls, which would be a first, rather than downstream as others have done. The daring trip would be a 2,200 foot walk across the gorge.
Stunts are usually illegal at the Falls, but supporters of Wallenda’s plan say it would boost tourism and add to the Falls’ storied history. Wallenda, 32, says that what he does is more science than stunt anyway, and he wouldn’t put himself in the same category as the barrel-riders and rapids shooters who’ve had mixed success trying to conquer the Falls since the 1850s.
“Everything I do is extremely calculated,” he said by phone a few hours before the premier of a new Discovery channel series about his work, “Life on a Wire.”
The New York Assembly approved a bill directing the New York Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation to write rules and regulations specifically allowing Wallenda to walk across the Niagara River Gorge. The Senate approved the measure earlier. It was sent Wednesday to Gov. Andrew Cuomo for his consideration.
If the bill becomes law, Wallenda still needs permission from Canadian officials if he is to end the walk in an area overseen by the Niagara Parks Commission. The Ontario commission, which in the past has denied such requests, has not yet received a request for Wallenda, a spokesman said.
Wallenda would walk from the U.S directly over the Horseshoe Falls to Canada. Jean Francois Gravelot – “the Great Blondin” – who first crossed the gorge on a high wire in 1850, and nearly a dozen who followed, all crossed downstream of the Falls. It’s been more than 100 years since anyone has repeated the feat.
“Even to this day, people still come to our visitor center with a curiosity toward the daredevils and high wire performers of past generations,” said Niagara Tourism and Convention Corp. President John Percy. “This attempt will solidify Nik Wallenda’s place in Niagara Falls folklore and add to the longstanding allure of conquering Niagara’s tremendous power.”
The New York legislation gives Wallenda until next August to perform the walk, which he would fund himself. He said he doesn’t yet have a date in mind.

Jessica Lee – Nip Slip! Avril Lavigne.

The Canadian singer was enjoying herself on her St. Tropez party yacht yesterday when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction. Lavigne was jumping in and out of the water and didn’t even realize it when she flashed her nipples to all her friends. She is on her way to releasing her fifth album—the sequel to this year’s “Goodbye Lullaby.”
